In 2026, Tomoyasu Hotei celebrates the 45th anniversary of his career as an artist.

Even after 45 years, Hotei continues to evolve, pushing forward with the same passion, creativity, and energy that have defined his journey from the very beginning.

The theme of this milestone year is “Celebration.” More than simply marking an anniversary, it is a year dedicated to expressing gratitude to the audiences, fellow musicians, collaborators, and everyone who has been part of Hotei’s remarkable journey.

The celebration began with HOTEI 45th CELEBRATION GIGS, held on January 31 and February 1, 2026, at Keio Arena TOKYO. The two special performances took audiences on a journey through Hotei’s extraordinary career—from BOØWY and COMPLEX to his solo work—while showcasing the artist he continues to be today.

Now, the spirit of that celebration will travel across Japan with HOTEI the LIVE 2026 “45th Celebration GIGS” STAY WILD TOUR, a nationwide tour spanning 27 performances in 21 cities, beginning on September 5 and 6 in Takasaki, Gunma.

For 45 years, Hotei has continued to create unforgettable beats, melodies, and guitar performances while constantly redefining his live shows. Guided by the message “STAY WILD,” this tour represents the next chapter in his ongoing musical journey.
